The thing about "god", or nature, or the general all-encompassing force in this world that creates life is that it never stops. Life crashes through barriers like sprouts in concrete. And despite all the force of patriarchal regimentation in our dealings with the natural world, the thing we refer to as "god" doesn't give a damm what we think or feel.
